This is a card I made for a monthly swap I recently participated in. I found the card and CASE'd most of it. The recipients of the card were in awe and I have to say I am pretty happy with the way it turned out too.

Oh Hello!

Hi Friends
I am back with another card I saw on Pinterest. You can view  the gals blog  here  I am doing a Stamp a Stack class and I need cards that are made quickly and I think this fits the bill.

I used Daffodil Delight as the card base. So Saffron is the next layer, embossed with the Modern Mosaic Embossing folder. I cut a banner from Polka Dot Parade DSP. Next up is label from Labels Collections cut from Daffodil Delight CS. I then inked up Oh, Hello with  Basic Gray Ink, and cut it out with my oval punch.  Using the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch, I cut a small shape and placed a Rhinestone in the center. Voila! As always, the sentiment can be changed to suit the occasion.

Happy New Year!

Hello Stampers

A new year. Wow, can you believe it....2014. With every new year brings the new years resolutions. I have made one! I want this blog to be successful so I need to be a dedicated blogger. I have a lot to learn about blogging, and hopefully I will find the help I need to do this. It's mostly about adding links and that kind of stuff.
Starting on January 3, Stampin' Up! has a new occassions catalogue "Celebrate the Everyday". Items in it will be available until June 1. There are many new exciting products in there. I am sure you will see something you like. Dies, papers, punches, stamp sets, ribbon ~ the list goes on and on. If you  are in Canada and in need of a copy, please contact me and I would be more than happy to get one off to you.

Festive Flurry Colour Combo

Hello All!

I found this lovely card on Pinterest and just had to make it.  The card I CASE'd is the "Crisp Cantaloupe" coloured one. I absolutely love the colour combinations for the Christmas season. Its so un-traditional. However, I have had not so favourable comments about the colours so I decided to make a traditonal red and green card, same layout. Which do you prefer?
I like both, but the Crisp Cantaloupe wins for me! Its going to be my Christmas card this year for family and friends!

It's been like forever since I posted. However, today being World Card Making Day I thought I could do this!
